We will be opening our gates for a short time this Saturday 21st June morning! This is for all to peruse and explore the garden before we go to the Grow Dundee X V&A Dundee event at Riverside Esplanade in the afternoon.
You can come check out the garden between 10am and 12.30PM on what is due to be a hot hot Saturday!
After this, we will be heading to celebrate all things local-gardening “doon the waterfront” and joining the party! This is a great opportunity to witness the huge network of community gardeners in Dundee.
We are also very excited to share what our wonderful volunteer Maria has been working on across the last 5-6 weeks, in a display of over 30 tiny gardens created by those in our community. You can see the sneak peek on our event page… but you have to come join us and see the full marvellous creation in real life for yourself!
From Grow Dundee’s blog, here’s what you can expect:
“Join us for a fun afternoon on the Plaza at the V&A Dundee DD1 4EZ.
The Community Growing Network will be putting on a display of miniature Gardens on the Plaza for the afternoon. We will be running workshops so you can have a go at making your own floral crowns and jewellery, tasting our mocktails and growing Companion plants. Come along and meet the gardeners, hear more about our growing spaces and find out how you can get involved!”
