Join Dumfries Writers for a promenade performance of writing inspired by historical artefacts currently on display in the museum. From Victorian curatrices to current conservators, you’ll hear stories of distressed dolls, unusual discoveries on the streets of Dumfries and just who maintains the collections when the lights are switched off at night – and so much more! Wander through the galleries with our featured writers as they bring the town’s treasures to life in original prose and poetry.

Entry is free, and there’s no need to book. Refreshments provided.
