A fantastic weekend of concerts for everyone!
Our Proms in the Park returns to Meyrick Park for another fantastic weekend of music, fun and fireworks with two spectacular open-air concerts! On Friday 8 August, we’ll kick off with Classical Extravaganza 2.0, an unforgettable evening of world-class symphonic music. Highlights include The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (immortalized by Mickey Mouse in Fantasia), Tchaikovsky’s lively Polonaise and Waltz from Eugene Onegin, Borodin’s vibrant Polovtsian Dances, and beloved classics by Dvořák, Sibelius, and Elgar, along with the powerful film scores of John Williams.
On Saturday 9 August, the celebration continues with Symphonic Smash Hits – the 80s! A nostalgic journey through the unforgettable sounds of the 80s, featuring symphonic renditions of hits by Madonna, Toto, Ultravox, Elton John, Bonnie Tyler, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, A-ha, George Michael, and more. With our signature fireworks and pyrotechnics to close each night, it’s a weekend you won’t want to miss!
Earlybird tickets at £33 are available until Monday 9 June, when the ticket price goes up to £37 for Advance tickets (and £41 On The Day). Join us for the highlight of the summer and bring your friends and family for two evenings of music, fun, and unforgettable memories!
