Whole Health
Whole Health is VA’s approach to healthcare that empowers and equips Veterans to take charge of their health and well-being and to live their life to the fullest. It focuses on what matters most to the Veteran. This aligns with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Mission Statement to Honor America’s Veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being.
VHA facilities shifting from a system designed around care primarily focused on disease management to building partnerships that are focused on Whole Health. The result is a health system that emphasizes self-empowerment, self-healing, and self-care in addition to standardized treatment.

That’s the Dream Farm
That’s the Dream Farm is the setting for Refresh Equine Assisted Learning. The farm was established to provide a serene and relaxing setting nurture our relationship to self and others. The staff of That’s the Dream Farm and Refresh are trained in Natural Lifemanship, a relational learning program where participants learn healthy relationship principles. Often the “other” in the relationship is a horse (although not all learning is done with horses). Come and experience the principals of healthy relationships and improve how you relate to yourself and others.
