Juneteenth Community Celebration
Join us for a day of family fun!

Location: Calvary Presbyterian Church
For four years, Calvary Presbyterian Church Detroit has endeavored to bring the community together for a family-friendly free event! We'll celebrate the great liberation history that God oversaw, especially reflected in that long-awaited announcement of freedom to enslaved African American people, in Galveston, Texas, on June 19th, 1865. As we reflect upon how far we have come and how far we yet must go in the struggle for social and spiritual freedom, we invite you to celebrate with us on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10am, until 3pm.
There will be vendors, food, activities for children and youths, a DJ, a comedy act, capped off with a jazz concert.
We would love for you to come and share a wonderful time with us. Grab a bite to eat, enjoy live music, and be in community.
