The Detroit Foodie Fair is happening on September 22, 2024, at Shed 5 in
Eastern Market. This event celebrates local food culture with a mix of
delicious bites and unique food goods from Detroit and nearby areas. The

from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is free to attend with free parking. Visitors
can also enjoy the Detroit Vegan Festival, which takes place at the same
time, and vote for Detroit’s Best Foodie Find. The fair promises a fun and

3. SOUL FOOD: THE R&B PICNIC + FESTIVAL
The Hour Detroit Food and Wine Festival is a popular culinary event held
annually in Detroit, Michigan, at Huntington Place. Here people can explore
delicious food samples prepared by top chefs, enjoy tastings from over 150
wine, beer, and spirits options, and listen to live music and DJs.

through masks, featuring a variety of activities and attractions. Attendees
can join mask-making workshops led by experienced artists, explore art
exhibits showcasing masks from local and regional artists, and enjoy live
music and performances that incorporate mask-wearing. Vendor booths will
offer handmade masks, art, and crafts, and there will be family-friendly

5. The Ribs R&B Music Festival Weekend
This three-day event features tasty BBQ from over 100 vendors, including
grilled lamb chops, seafood, and vegan options. The

is set for August, at Hart Plaza in Detroit. The festival is free to attend
during specific hours: Friday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturday and
Sunday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM; after these times, it's $15, with free
admission for kids under 12. Enjoy live music on two stages with more than
40 acts, including gospel, soul, and jazz performances. There's also a DJ
lounge with popular DJs and a special celebration of 50 years of hip hop on
August 11.
