Children's Storytime with Frank + Claire Clark: "Dreaming Together"

Join us for a special Children's Storytime with local authors Frank and Claire Clark! They will be reading from their new picture book, Dreaming Together.

Dreaming Together was co-authored by this father-daughter duo with the goal of emphasizing the importance of connectedness. We are living in a world where loneliness and social isolation has resulted in the dreams of communities being deferred. Dreaming Together highlights the importance of leaning into family and friends who help us see and believe in our dreams during all seasons. Our hope is that the reflective text, vibrant illustrations by Daria Ponomarenko, and moving music by award winning composer, Nan Avant invite readers to have the collective dream of embracing humanity.

Dr. Frank Clark is a board certified psychiatrist, prolific poet, and children’s book author. His poetic works have been performed by the SC Philharmonic.

Claire Clark is a bright and loving young soul who enjoys the arts. She has a passion for laughter, knowledge, and creativity. Claire is excited to share her first children’s book of poetry.
