2025 Ride of Silence

Join the Midlands cycling community for the annual Ride of Silence, a solemn and powerful worldwide event honoring cyclists who have been injured or killed while riding on public roads. This free, silent group ride aims to raise awareness among motorists, the public, and policymakers about the importance of sharing the road safely.

Starting at the ColaBikeTown Collective 711 Elmwood Ave, The ride is slow-paced (approximately 10-12 mph) and is just over 7 miles long and is moderately hilly. Meet no later than 6:45 for a 7 pm roll out.

All participants are asked to wear helmets and observe complete silence during the ride to pay tribute to those we’ve lost and advocate for safer streets.
