OUR THEME: God's Laboratory: Fusing elements for explosive joy

Joy comes from God—the source of all our joy. Joy is produced when we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts, fusing spiritual elements that are explosive when mixed. As scientists, we are eager to use our senses to observe how the Holy Spirit works in and around us. When we obediently keep God’s Word—fusing elements like those found in the fruit of the Spirit—we explode in joy. The world does not give us joy, and the world can never take away our joy. This year’s Vacation Bible School has us working in God’s Laboratory.

As a result of experiencing these lessons, participants will . . .
• observe how the Holy Spirit is at work in and through us.
• learn the importance of obeying God’s Word and fusing various spiritual elements to produce real joy.
