Ready to take your Rueda de Casino to the next level? This class is designed for dancers who already have a solid foundation and want to grow their skills in a dynamic way. We’ll explore more complex transitions, musicality, and partnerwork while deepening your connection to the circle and the music that fuels it.
Pre-requisites:
To get the most out of this class, you should already be comfortable with the following basics:
– Dame / Dile Que No
– Enchufla
– Vacíla
– Setenta (or similar foundational calls)
– Basic partner transitions and group rotation
What we’ll cover:
– Intermediate-level Rueda patterns and timing
– Transitions with musical awareness
– Group flow and rueda etiquette
– Role confidence and partner connection
– Building improvisation and playfulness into your dance
This is a rotating partner class — no partner needed! Expect to challenge yourself, laugh, and strengthen your ability to listen, lead, follow, and flow within the circle.
