The Library will be hosting its third annual Plant Fest on the Clifton Branch Library front lawn. Join us on Saturday, May 17th from 11am-1pm where we’ll have lemonade to share and activities for all ages!
Here’s what you need to know:
Bring a beautiful plant to swap...or two or three. Who’s counting? They can be potted plants, cuttings, or even seeds—just be prepared to leave a pest-free, non-invasive plant behind in exchange for something new-to-you.
You can also bring gently used planter pots to donate!
Learn about composting, community, and sustainable gardening practices from our partners The Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati, Hamilton County ReSource, the Civic Garden Center, The University of Cincinnati's Horticulture Club, The Society of St. Andrew, and Food Not Lawns.
Participate in our kid's nature scavenger hunt, make crafts, and play fun games on the lawn!
Head inside the Clifton Branch Library and visit our Seed Library to take and donate flower, herb, and vegetable seeds!
