Cincinnati Pride & Cincinnati Leather are co-hosting a Flash Tattoo event at the Cincinnati Ballet... because where else would you go to get a Pride tattoo?! Parking is free. Space is spacious. Natural lighting is lit. Sounds like a great spot for a little ink!
Queer-affirming, licensed, area tattoo artists will be on-site doing first-come, first-served flash tattoos. Tattoos will be LGBTQ+ themed and queer-affirming... but not just rainbows and equal signs!! You'll have a WIDE arrange of options to choose from and all tattoos will be priced at $200 or less. All funds go directly to the artist - this is not a fundraiser. All of our artists will accept cash or card and will work quickly to try and see as many clients as possible.
+ all tattoo clients must be 18+, with valid ID
+ no tattoos on "private areas," including buttocks, genitals, or breasts... not because we're prudish but we'd have to supply privacy screens and less space = less artists. But most artists would be happy to make a private appointment with you back their studio or shop!
+ the official after party, our "Bandage Bash" will be at Tillie's Lounge (Northside). Come celebrate your ink and show-off your wound at Tillie's afterward!
+ no advance bookings. Sorry, friends. Everybody waits in line.
Here's a few things you should know...
- We'll do our best to post flash tattoo designs from our artists in advance so you can "browse" ahead.
- We anticipate line-up starting no earlier than 10am and will open doors and get started as close to 11am as possible, once the Health Department signs-off on their inspection.
- You enter the Sheakley Studio space, find your tattoo/artist, sign-up for a time slot. Some of you may hang out around the Ballet, some may leave and come back closer to their appointment time. It's a community event - you're welcome to stay and hang out with us. We'll have music playing in the lobby :)
