Getting older doesn’t mean slowing down
Join us on 31st January 11am to 1pm for a friendly, informal seminar all about staying strong, active, and sharp as we age. We’ll be talking about simple, practical ways to improve physical fitness, balance, confidence, and brain health, with a big focus on why lifting weights is so important as we get older. Strength training helps protect joints and bones, improves balance, boosts brain health, and keeps you independent for longer.
It’s a great opportunity to hear from local experts, ask questions, and pick up tips you can actually use, whether for yourself or someone you care for. No jargon, no pressure, just helpful advice in a welcoming environment.
The event is supported by FitBox Buckshaw Village, and everyone is welcome. Come along, bring a friend, and take a positive step towards ageing well
