Chorley VE Day 80 Church Service

On Thursday, 8th May, there will be a commemorative VE Day service at St Laurence's Church, Chorley to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe.

The service will begin at 8pm prompt, giving worshippers the opportunity to also attend Chorley Council's Beacon Lighting at the War Memorial in Astley Park, which will begin at 9pm.

Everyone, especially those with military connections, will be warmly welcomed as we gather to commemorate and celebrate.
