For thousands of years ancient tribes have considered cacao as a sacred plant with healing properties. Not only was cacao used in ceremonial settings but it was also renowned as a medicinal plant that aids in the healing of and opening up of the heart. It facilitates greater connection to other people and to yourself. Allowing you to feel, hear and speak your own truth.
We will come together for this sacred ceremony, honouring this sacred plant medicine, the time, space, yourself, and all the components that will come together to create this special experience.
We will set our intention and reconnect, opening up our hearts to allowing the healing to begin.
It is such a beautiful practice and I hope you will join this sacred ceremony.

The evening will consist of giving thanks to the ancient medicine and receiving its gift in the form of a blessing.
You will then drink the sacred Cacao and accept its medicine.
To aid your blood flow and connect to self you will be guided through a short breathwork session, before relaxing in to the space under a warm blanket while Liz & Chris play the Gongs and other Healing instruments sonyou can you relax in the vibration of a healing soundbath.
The sacred Cacao will open your heart and give you release so you can heal and reconnect. You will be welcome to share in this safe and nurturing circle, giving you the time and love to let go.

Cacao has no hallucinogenic effects and is a natural plant medicine. It has medicinal properties and is a healing medicine.
As it does open the heart anyone who has any heart problems (pacemaker, etc) would be advised not to use cacao.
Anyone on any blood pressure medication must make the facilitator aware as your dose will need to be reduced.
Also if you are taking anti-depressant medication you may experience a slight headache after taking cacao.
