Amalgam

***Amalgam*** are a modern Jazz quintet formed back in 2020, which started out as a collection of musicians from around Essex and London rehearsing over the internet at the time of 'social distancing'. From this period emerged a collection of original material that went into the first album, called "Colours", released back in 2023, selected tracks from which are available on Spotify and Apple Music.

They perform a blend of original music along with an assortment of pieces from some of the greats of modern American and European jazz such as Pat Metheny, Chick Corea and Arild Andersen Amalgam are:
