Come join us for a fun-filled day of basketball and beer at Queens University of Charlotte Curry Arena Located Inside The Levine Center! Get ready to watch some intense hoops action while enjoying a cold brew with friends. Whether you're a basketball fanatic or just looking for a good time, this event is perfect for everyone. Hoops and Hops gathers a diverse group of basketball enthusiasts, including local wheelchair basketball athletes, NBA players, college, and other league players, all coming together in support of this meaningful cause. Sponsored teams of athletes of all skill levels take part in a three point contest, and a timed skill challenge course. This event was created to bridge the funding gap that exists between government and state aid and the out-of-pocket expenses required for adaptive vehicle modification, a crucial resource that helps increase mobility and independence for people with disabilities. Beyond the court, a silent auction and raffle give guests additional ways to support the cause, with proceeds directly funding adaptive vehicle grants for those in need.
