2nd Friday Name Your Price Swing Dance
Cost: Whatever it's worth to you to get a lesson and a dance. Name your price (CASH ONLY)
Where: King David Christian Conservatory, 2200-B Coronation Blvd, Charlotte, NC. (The studio is all the way around the back). Plenty of free parking. This is a professional dance studio with Marley floors. There are actually two 25x50 foot joined studios we will be dancing in with 3 doors in between them. These are sprung floors that feel wonderful on your legs. Plenty of free parking.
6:30 PM Check in and get your wristband and enjoy some social time. (After you sign a waiver, you will receive a wrist band that indicates if you wish to dance socially or only with your partner).
7:00-8:00 PM Free Beginner lesson by Denise & Tom Bach of CharlotteSwingDance.com
8:00-10:00 PM Open dancing
Who: Anyone 11 and over. (Children may attend only if they plan to dance and must be supervised by parents).
Attire:
Wear casual comfortable clothes to stay cool. You will need dance shoes, leather bottom shoes or dance in your sox. Regular gym shoes will stick to this floor. No stiletto type heels. Bring your water bottle.
General: Liability waivers are required as you sign in. After signing your waiver, you will receive either a band that indicates you wish to social dance with others or a band that indicates you only wish to dance with your partner. You may change your mind and your band at any time during the dance. We encourage social dancing since you learn much more and make more friends when you dance with others.
