4-H Fair Ready: Conference Judging & Livestock Workshop
Join our Federation Club for an engaging, hands-on workshop designed to prepare 4-H members for success in both livestock and general project judging—just in time for fair season!

4:00–5:00 PM – Livestock Session
Learn how to dress appropriately, prep your animal, and confidently interact with judges. We'll go over key showmanship skills to help you stand out in the ring.
5:00–6:00 PM – General Projects & Cloverbuds Session
Explore how to present yourself and your project like a pro. We'll cover how to dress, introduce yourself, set up a display, and hold meaningful conversations with judges. Cloverbuds will receive age-appropriate guidance to help them feel confident and included.
Who Should Attend?
All 4-H members ages 5–18 are welcome! This workshop is especially helpful for first-year members or anyone looking for a confidence boost and refresher before the fair.
Don’t miss this chance to build your fair-ready skills in a fun, supportive setting with fellow 4-H’ers!
What to Wear & Bring:
For the workshop, please wear comfortable yet appropriate attire that reflects how you'd present yourself at the fair. Closed-toe shoes are required. And don’t forget to bring a water bottle!
