About the event

Plants of the Sonoran Desert

Rotary Room

Nancy Coutant, a member of the Prairie's Edge Master Naturalist group, will start with a brief introduction to the diverse habitats in the Sonoran desert and plant adaptations for survival in the desert. The majority of the program will discuss 40 plus plants that live in the Sonoran desert. The presentation will conclude with a short discussion of places to visit in the Sonoran desert to see a wide variety of desert plants.
