Sean-nós Dance Workshop

📣 Join us for the AMAZING Kelly Smit's Sean-nós Dance Workshop at the Baltimore County Arts Guild's Catonsville Clubhouse.

🕺Meaning "old style" in Irish, Sean Nós is a casual, free-spirited and improvisational form of Irish dance that's low-to-the-ground and percussive (think tap dancing).

👉 Cost is $10 per person per class to be paid at the door or online at www.bcartsguild.org

❗IMPORTANT: You’ll want to dance in comfortable and supportive shoes with a smooth hard sole - NOT athletic shoes.

👩🏻‍🏫 ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Kelly Smit has been teaching and performing Sean Nós dance for over 15 years. She has learned from, performed with, and shared steps with dancers in cities across the US and Ireland. She can regularly be found dancing up a storm at Irish music sessions around Baltimore.
