Dear Friends,
We hope this message finds you well. We're grateful once again to open our home to the community and through our chanting practice cultivate the loving kindness that elevates and sustains our souls.
On Friday, June 6th, from 7:30 pm – 10:00pm (doors open at 7:00 pm), please join us IN PERSON as we say, “Farewell” to our Cambridge home and embark on an exciting new chapter in our lives. We will celebrate over 15 years of chanting in community with our special guests, Paul Coggins, Ravi, Kampa, Emily Nicole, Jaya Madhava das, and Jerry Leake on tabla, and we will pass the microphone to all Kirtan wallahs who wish to lead us!
There are no hard and fast rules for chanting besides opening our hearts and letting our souls reach out to the divine. The sacred sound vibration of the mantras is the bridge of love. Everything and every one of us are connected.
As always, KK is offered on the principle of dakshina. The suggested donation for the night is $10-$20 and larger gifts will be gratefully accepted, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Please let us know if you're coming. It's helpful to understand how much Kitchari and Chai to prepare.
May our shared vision lead us to the spontaneous fulfillment of our collective desires– toward peace, love, and harmony.
With love,
Tamal Khusrau and Shakti
• Kitchari Kirtan is an offering, inspired by a group of musicians and friends who delight in raising their collective voices together in the singing of the names ~ sankirtan. The dynamism of this community is overflowing with potential, not only musically and in our practice of chanting, but also in the development of relationships that mutually enhance each of our most important projects, visions, and aims. Gratitude has been the naturally outpouring response from us for the grace of this community, and we hope to deepen our reservoir of this precious quality with You.
