Our Summer Gala, presented by Delaware North, brings together the best of the dance world: acclaimed dancers from across the globe, local favorites, and rising stars! It's a performance everyone can enjoy, whether it's your first ballet performance or your 100th!
This year we are excited to feature:
Principal dancers Dana Benton & Jonnathan Ramirez from Colorado Ballet performing "Argentine Tango" with music by Astor Piazzolla
Miami City Ballet Principal Dancer Chase Swatosh & former Principal Soloist Emily Bromberg
Alumna Maggie Weatherdon, now with Royal Winnipag Balletand Alumnus Rowan Lindamood now with Joffrey Studio Company will perform Flower Festival Pas de Deux AND be featured in Heidi Halts "Solento" which is being brought back by POPULAR DEMAND! (If you missed it last year...it's your lucky day! Our audience RAVED about it even after the Gala was over that...we are bringing it back!)
Alumna Adrien Malof whose performed with Ballet Met and Grand Rapids Ballet, in a self choreographed piece not to be missed.
And finally, our very own Sergio Neglia, in "From Earth" choreographed by Viktor Plotnikov, which Sergio will be performing at the 100th Anniversary Gala of the Theatre Colon!
The evening doesn't end when the curtain closes either!
After the performance audience members will be invited to celebrate alongside the evening's dancers with complimentary champagne, desserts by Lola's Bake Shop and appetizers by Espos Catering!
If you can't make it, you can still be a part of the event by making a donation before June 15th and be included in our program. All donations and ticket sales directly benefit Neglia Ballet's CityDance Program and future public performances.
