This workshop introduces simple, practical self-defence skills that focus on awareness, decision making, and staying safe in everyday situations. It is designed for complete beginners and provides a clear introduction to personal safety.
You’ll learn:
How to recognise and avoid potential conflict early
Basic principles of de-escalation and conflict management
How to use clear, confident communication under pressure
Environmental awareness and using your surroundings to your advantage
Simple, effective self-defence techniques for common situations
There are no quick fixes or guarantees in self-defence. The aim of this session is not to promise certainty, but to give you solid foundations. You’ll be introduced to key principles that improve awareness, confidence, and decision making, helping you reduce risk and respond more effectively if a situation develops.
Training will be practical, supportive, and easy to follow, with no prior experience needed.
