The term psykhe meant soul, mind, spirit, or "breath of life" in ancient Greek. The myth of Psykhe personifies the journey of the soul as a woman who must travel into the depths of an underworld cave to reunite with her love, Eros.
Psykhe’s Cave is an invitation to journey within, to reconnect with what gives you breath and life. We will encounter art in a slower, more embodied way through a curated integration of the visual, sonic, and somatic as we dance to a DJ'd set. Together, we will co-create a space that nourishes the soul, honors the body, and invites your joy.
Come, journey with us!

About the Facilitators & Artists
Psykhe’s Cave is the first public offering of Myths Move Bodies, a collaboration between somatic DJ CIANA and curator Roksana Filipowska. We integrate house beats with curated artwork projection to create immersive experiences where participants leave behind urgency to move with the pulse of mythic time.
The art: Psykhe’s Cave features art by Natessa Amin, Sarah Benezra, Virginia L. Montgomery, and Jackie Tileston, with an accompanyinh curatorial essay by Roksana Filipowska.
The music: Psykhe’s Cave features a dance set by CIANA, who spins an eclectic range of electronic music – everything from Afro beats, riddim, and amapiano, Latin, organic, funky, tribal, bass and deep house, neosoul, nu disco, and chillwave pop remixes. https://soundcloud.com/cianadjs
