Liz's Book Bar is turning 1! As part of the celebrations, we're having a community game day led by LBB regular Xavier Harding. Tabletop games for kids and parents will be available. We’ll have Pokémon TCG, rounds of Magic the Gathering (standard or commander or both), as well as standard playing cards and dominoes. Your ticket will include one booster pack of playing cards and a non-alcoholic drink from the café.
Xavier Harding is an editor at The New York Times' T Brand Studio. Born and raised in New York City, Xavier spent the bulk of his career as a journalist covering tech, gaming and culture. In 2018, he won two Webby Awards for his story on cinematography and lighting Black faces for film. Outside of work he volunteers at Read 718, helping students in Bedstuy (K-12) improve their reading skills. Xavier lives in Brooklyn, New York.
