Tropicalfete Inc. proudly presents Authors Connecting: Cultural Reading Program, a special event spotlighting the intersection of Caribbean heritage and literature. This June, in honor of Caribbean American Heritage Month, we invite you to a rare U.S. appearance by acclaimed reggae historian and award-winning journalist John Masouri, author of Pressure Drop: Reggae in the Seventies.
Hosted by Patricia Meschino, award-winning journalist, this in-person event will explore the roots and rhythms of reggae and its cultural impact during the transformative decade of the 1970s.
