Kelch Barnstormer Weekend: Pietenpol-Hatz Fly-In

Come enjoy a weekend at the museum and watch vintage airplanes in action! Our airport neighbors the Brodhead Pietenpol Association and EAA Chapter 431 will be hosting their Pietenpol-Hatz annual fly-in, a wonderful event that's open to the public. All are welcome!

From 10am Friday, July 18th, until 8pm Saturday, July 19th, the museum will be bustling with barnstormer action:

- Free ice cream served from 11am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday
- Kids hands-on flight science activities
- Air rocket making & launching
- Vintage aircraft in action (weather permitting)
- Great runway view seating
- Museum tours
- Aviation Fly Market sale of aircraft parts and paraphernalia
- Accessible and mobility friendly!

The Pietenpol-Hatz Fly In officially lasts from Thursday July 17 to Sunday July 20. The museum will be open for all of it; however the special museum activities will occur only on Friday & Saturday.

As always, admission is free! Donations are encouraged; the museum is 100% funded by supporters like you.
