📖 About the Event:
The Queensland Jazz Orchestra (QJO) is a newly formed band which brings together the best jazz and commercial players, with a repertoire that showcases all that big band music has to offer. At their first gig, the band will present music from the likes of Quincy Jones, Oliver Nelson, and Buddy Rich, and more recent works from Chris Walden and Michael Davis.
Joining the band to sing a few classic numbers from the songbooks of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jnr will be vocalist Steve Taylor-Brown. The band is “all about the music” and we hope to see you there!
