MARCH THE STORY BRIDGE DETOUR!

We weren't allowed to march on the bridge, so this time we're taking to the streets and marching the detour route. Join us 10.30am Saturday 14 June to call on Brisbane City Council to allocate one lane of the Story Bridge to active transport and let people safely walk, ride and scooter across.

Three months without a safe and practical route for active transport is too long. We can't let it go on for three months more.

Meet at 10.30am at the top of Ivory Lane (across the road from All Hallows). We'll then march on the road down Ann Street, Queen Street, Eagle Street, Felix & Edward Street, ending in the City Botanic Gardens.

This is a peaceful protest. Invite a friend, bring your bike, scooter, pram or wheelchair. If you're cycling and coming from the south, we'll have a bike bus to ride over the Story Bridge at 10.00am to help you get there safely.
