The ideal addition to your weekend. For this special weekend evening session we will be enjoying the forest early evening when the low sunlight through the trees is just magical.
Join me for a 90 minute forest bathing session in the early evening within a small group where I will lead you through an enjoyable sequence of mindful and sensory practices crafted for your relaxation and connection with the forest.
Forest Bathing is the English translation of the Japanese term ‘Shinrin-yoku’. To better understand this concept, it means ‘spending quality time, fully immersed in the forest atmosphere, under the canopy of trees, for health and wellbeing purposes.
My unique approach to Forest Bathing has been developed through years of study into mindfulness, meditation, yoga nidra, sound therapy and forest bathing.
Our session will include sensory practices, guided meditation,a sprinkling of sound therapy, tea and snacks and optional sharing to enhance the experience of the group.
Science based evidence shows that Forest Bathing can potentially:
Normalise blood pressure
Lower stress and anxiety levels
Improve concentration and memory
Ease feelings of depression
Reduce chronic pain
