Join me for an hour of restful sound bath meditation in this beautiful old building which has calm energy and wonderful acoustics.
This experience offers you an hour to simply rest immersed in sound.
I will guide you through a short spoken meditation designed to help you release tension and relax. I will then play a variety of sound therapy instruments including gongs, chimes, drum and singing bowls to take you on a journey of imagination through some evocative sounds.
What this experience offers:
A live, immersive instrumental soundscape.
A supportive space for rest (or sleep if that is what is needed.)
Time for yourself away from demands of every day life and technology.
Opportunity to tune in to your inner voice and needs.
Potential benefits for you:
Resetting your nervous system.
Processing of thoughts and emotions.
Deep and restorative relaxation.
Release of stress, muscular tension and/or stuck emotions.
Insights, creativity and accessing intuition.
A better night's sleep.
Considerations - A sound meditation is relaxing and restful for many guests; however, sound is powerful and has the potential to evoke memories and stir emotions. With this in mind, coming to a sound bath may not be suitable for you if you experience any of the following: sound induced epilepsy, have an implanted medical device including pacemaker, cochlear implant, or deep brain stimulator, acute/severe mental health concerns, are in crisis currently or experiencing active addiction, Meniere's disease, sound hypersensitivity or any health condition triggered by sound, or if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
It is also common to drift to sleep at times in a sound bath, so if you suffer from sleep apnoea a group session is likely not the best way to experience sound – in this instance please get in touch with the facilitator for a confidential discussion before you book.
Please do not attend if you have a contagious illness, thank you.
Feel free to reach out in confidence and check if you are unsure about whether this session is right for you by emailing
