Saturday, August 9, 2025 Educational Session and Bird Walk to Teller Farms

Join Front Range Birding and Optics for our August bird walk on Saturday, August 9th at 7:30am! This month we’ll be starting a new series of half hour educational sessions before our bird walk so we’ll be meeting at our store (2425 Canyon Blvd Suite B.) and carpooling to our birding location.

This month join store owner David Kwasnick and Boulder store manager Jamie Simo to learn about programs to help you level-up your birding such as eBird and Merlin. Then we’ll head over to Teller Farms to look for migrants, both coming and going. Target species include Blue Grosbeak, Say’s Phoebe, Yellow-headed Blackbird, and Swainson’s Hawk.
