Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.
For May in Boulder, we ask: What wants to happen here? Awakening to the dreaming of earth.
In a world of unprecedented times and so much uncertainty, how do we develop choices that grow toward empathy and inclusion, drawing from intelligences that reside beyond the individual self and into the unseen worlds? How do we break out of the systems of thought and behavior that keep our imaginations limited so that we might be delivered into a new future of promise? Mary Kin presents one possible step beyond psychedelics…Play Attention.
Mary Kin is an improv artist, clown, poet, and changemaker devoted to what she calls awakening to the Dreaming of Earth. She is the creator of Play Attention—a self-developed discovery process and living curriculum that invites students to radicalize through authenticity by exploring impulse, expression, and impact. In doing so, empathy is not taught but naturally awakened.
With over 15 years of experience developing and teaching Play Attention, Mary’s work is deeply informed by her psychedelic travels and a lifelong inquiry into the question: What wants to happen?
Suggested donation of $10, payable at the door. Door fee goes toward paying for the rented venue and supporting the non-profit work of The Nowak Society. If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us!
