Planina: The Contemplation Concert
Planina, normally known for its rousing harmonies, presents a rare, meditative concert designed to soothe and restore. Give your body and mind a rest while Planina cradles you in music — no bright costumes, no announcements, no applause, just a smooth flow of some of the more reflective and soulful songs in our repertoire. Sit in traditional seating or bring pillows and mats to relax on the floor and engage in some immersive listening and deep relaxing.
The music will include traditional lullabies, laments, sacred songs, and love songs in Armenian, Bulgarian, Georgian, Old Church Slavonic, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Ukrainian, and Yiddish.
Please note that this concert is in the CHAPEL at St. Aidan's, west of the church.
