Boulder Creek Festival is partnering with Roots Music Project to feature local, emerging artists at the Boulder Creek Festival Community stage. Local bands and artists will be performing new songs in a celebration of cultural diversity and emerging talent.

ZEMBU DJ Set

ZEMBU, the creative project of Sarah Pumpian, is a vibrant homage to their Japanese heritage and a celebration of queer and mixed identities. The name "Zembu" is derived from the Japanese word "zenbu", meaning "whole", symbolizing their journey toward embracing wholeness in their identities.

Nu Bass Theory

Nu Bass Theory, a Colorado based duo plays a rare slice of electronica that maintains the groove. Thoughtful music production that blends technical organic elements from raw instruments. Inspired by Vulfpeck, Sade, Rhye and Shiloh Dynasty. Nu Bass Theory creates a unique brand of live electro-pop-funk and jazz, blending electronic beats, synth, samples and vocal harmonies to create an alternate lounge world dance party.

Since I was a teenager, I've surrounded myself with music and I've constantly strived to always work on, in, or around music. From that mentality and attitude, I've been able to not only forge my education around music, but also play, create, produce, and advocate for music, from my internships, running live sound for bands in small and large venues, to my work in the studio with singer-songwriters and artists from around Colorado. The past 15 years have been a journey of excitement, fun, and heartbreak.
