Blues Dance Workshop – Two Classes, One Night

I’m back in Colorado for the summer and offering two blues dance lessons on June 28th—one for beginners and one for dancers with a bit of experience. If you’ve been wanting to feel more confident on the dance floor, now’s your chance.
Class 1: Intro to Blues Dance
4:15 to 5:15 PM
For total beginners or anyone wanting to review the basics.
We’ll cover:
* Solo and partner rhythms
* Simple turns and transitions
* How to dance at live music events
* Partnered and solo movement
No experience or partner needed. Wear something comfortable (no bare feet) and bring water.
Class 2: Advanced Beginner Blues Workshop
5:15 to 6:15 PM
For dancers with at least one prior class or some social dance experience.
We’ll work on:
* Lead and follow technique
* Musicality and tempo play
* Connection, expression, and grounded movement
No partner needed. Same dress code and water recommendation applies.
Pricing:
One class: \$10
Both classes: \$15
These workshops are low-pressure, high-fun ways to enjoy dancing, build skill, and connect with good people. Come for one or stay for both.

Kevin has been teaching intro to blues dance for over ten years with a focus on fun, connection, and musical interpretation. He’s taught throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado and actively organizes live music and dance events that bring people together.
