The beauty of a sunset over the ocean or the magnificent forests of our state parks can be captured through transparent watercolor. Led by local artist Pam Benoit, this hands-on course will explore the use of watercolor techniques, textural effects, and the magic of light. There will be an emphasis on constructing a visually appealing composition.
Through fun exercises and projects, you’ll master the wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry brush techniques. You’ll learn about the properties of your paint. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refine your skills, Pam’s expert guidance will ensure you leave with a deeper understanding of the creative possibilities that watercolor offers.
Come ready to explore, experiment, and create in a welcoming and supportive environment!
