The Shawshank Redemption

Biloxi Little Theatre is thrilled to present our fourth show of our 78th season, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION!

The Shawshank Redemption is a stage adaptation of Stephen King's novella and the classic fils, centered on the unlikely friendship between two prisoners, Andy Dufresne and Ellis "Red" Redding, at the brutal Shawshank State Penitentiary. Wrongly convicted of his wife’s murder, Andy uses his intelligence and skills to survive harsh conditions, gain the respect of fellow inmates, and assist in the prison’s financial operations. Over the years, Red, a lifer and the narrator, forms a deep bond with Andy. The Shawshank Redemption is a story of resilience and a theatrical experience like no other.
