Why the feet?

The feet are more than physical support—they are maps of the body, holding stories of a person’s history, energy patterns, emotional memory, and life force. In this course, you will learn how to work through the feet to access, support, and transform the entire body.

In this course, you will learn to:

• Work with the Base of Somatic Support (B.O.S.S.) to restore grounding and balance
• Use foot analysis as a powerful diagnostic and therapeutic tool to understand your client’s patterns, energy , fears, and gifts
• Access and treat the whole body through the feet when direct touch isn’t possible
• Reconnect clients to their purpose and vitality from the ground up
  
  Course Description

This is a week-long intensive into the power, pragmatism, healing effectiveness, and intensity of working on the body through the feet of our clients. Think Reflexology yet wider, deeper, and with a much broader intention of communicating and touching your client. Sometimes direct work on the body is not possible, for many reasons — and yet the foot allows us access to the whole body.

The foot acts as a map of the body, this person's history, their personal energy styles, their habits, their fears, worries, and what they do with life’s energy and intensity. It also shows who they are, what they came into life with, what gifts or superpowers they are expressing, and how they can become in touch with their purpose.

We will mainly focus on techniques to work physically on the body through footwork and reestablishing a client’s connection to their Base of Somatic Support (B.O.S.S.) — their connection to the earth — to facilitate health. Additionally, we will work on understanding why footwork is such a powerful way to communicate and support clients, diagnostically and energetically.

This course is for those already working intimately with the body, doing process work or embodied healing as therapists and bodyworkers. It is open to graduates of the ANIMANO Training, and to those interested in joining the next cohort in October 2025.
