After years of playing in bands confined by genre, Van Dyke and Simon founded KCC definitively as an exploration of music. As an ever-evolving project, KCC is fueled by collaboration, the duo seeking out individuals who are moved by the moment, and subsequently capturing the minutiae when different combinations of artistry and creativity collide

Humans As Ornaments have always felt at home in a space of musical experimentation. Their songs contain a variety of influences - always delivered with a raw emotional intensity. Drawing from various genres between Post-Punk, Art-Rock, R&B and HipHop, the childhood friends Dave and Dennis continuously try to find connections within opposites. As a result, their sound is distinctly individual and uncompromising.
