Here some info about the workshop:

Dear Forager,

Thank you very much for your interest in this workshop about the mysteries and medicine of urban plants. The workshop will take place in Weichselplatz area, and we will be meeting at 10am in the corner between Weichselstr and Weichselplatz.

Please be careful when entering the location in your google search engine, because there is another Weichselstrasse in Friedrischein. We are based in Neukolln, near Sonnenallee and the Landswerk Kanal.

I would like to give you some information about what we are going to do in the workshop:

10am-1pm:

-Round of introductions and checking in.

-What is natural intelligence?

-The chemical origin of holistic thinking.

-Values and safety code of the urban forager.

-Connecting with the natural intelligence of a plant.

-The production and harvesting cycles of the seasonal and lunar calendar.

-The small gods and their biological counterparts: Fungi, insects and birds.

-The great goddesses: Hekate mother of Pharmakeia.

-Mapping an urban green space and determining where are placed the Guardians of the land.

-Locating and observing medicinal species: families and interconectedness interspecies.

-Stress and salubrity assessment of an urban plant.

-Introduction to 8 master medicinal plants: Dandelion, Elder, Nettle, Motherwort, Yarrow, Burdock, Plantain and Artemisia Vulgaris.

-Respectful harvesting techniques.

-The offering of gratitude.

1pm-2pm: Plant Medicine craft

-The herbalist's laboratory.

-Basic materials and processes for the use of street plants.

-Basics of medicine crafting(fresh plant, dry plant and carriers).

-Vinegar Tincture crafting.

2pm onwards we will taste some plants in their tea or tincture form, and have a snack if you would like to stay longer.

The course is donation based with a recommendation of15-30 euros donation, but of course flexible depending on your possibilities.

In case you are not in a good financial moment, just let me know. I would love to inspire people with this content regardless of their financial possibilities. So feel free to ask for the free option.

Materials you need to bring for the course:

-A glass jar between 200ml and 400ml clean and if possible without labels.

-A portable notebook and a pencil/pen that you love.

-Download the free app FLORA INCOGNITA.

-A breathable totebag or a medium/small basket.

-A sharp knife or scissors.

-A small trash bag.

-Your lunch and some water to drink.
