Improvisation and instant composition

Dance is a natural, spontaneous and innate activity of the human being. From this starting point we will then move into the field of choreography and instant composition: dance then becomes art and culture. From spontaneity to performance, the workshop will take you on a journey into the world of improvisation through the integration of body, mind and environment.
The lessons will consist of:
- a first technical part to refine our perceptions, the use of weight, listening. Improvisation will become the tool to relate in the environment around us. Spontaneity of doing and precision of action will come together in a movement practice to perfect our dancing skills. Clarity and flexibility will be the directions through which exercises and activities will be proposed.
- A second part will be dedicated to the world of instant composition. Knowing how to compose as a group, acting as a group and as an individual, listening to choreography and texts created in the moment will become the focus of the work. Analysis of the material will alternate with rich practice in composition and dialogue.
The work requires a solid basis in dance and/or theatre.
