🔸Embodied Release Approach
ER is a holistic method developed by Tiziana Longo, drawing inspiration from Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing, David Berceli’s Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (T.R.E.), and the expressive nature of Butoh, dance, and somatics. The term "ER" (Embodied Release) highlights the act of letting go through the body, allowing participants to explore movement as a vessel for deep healing and transformation.
This method focuses on reactivating energy through guided conscious breath, reconnecting diaphragms, and practising dynamic alignment. Participants engage in part-by-part gentle mobilization, pelvic and torso expansion, and utilize final dance tools, all aimed at helping them regain control, self-confidence, and freedom. By honouring the interconnectedness of movement and emotional release, ER fosters a profound healing experience that encourages personal insight and collective growth through embodied expression. Ultimately, like a flower blooming, ER invites participants to embrace their inner butoh, letting their unique dance emerge as a radiant expression of transformation and authenticity.
This diverse and inclusive group welcomes all genders, including the LGBTQ+ community and those fluid identities,
fostering a supportive environment for healing and expression. The ER course include:
