Hazals sehnlichster Wunsch: eine Chance im Leben. Trotz unzähliger Bewerbungen, findet sie keinen Ausbildungsplatz. Stattdessen stößt sie auf Vorurteile und wird immer wieder auf ihren Platz verwiesen. Doch an ihrem 18. Geburtstag fühlt sich Hazal stark. Sie will mit ihren besten Freundinnen im hippsten Club Berlins feiern gehen. Voller Vorfreude stehen sie in der Schlange. Doch der Türsteher lässt sie abblitzen. Hazal wird wieder einmal gezeigt, dass sie nicht dazu gehört. Auf dem Heimweg werden sie auch noch von einem aufdringlichen Studenten belästigt. Die Situation eskaliert. Hazal flieht Hals über Kopf nach Istanbul, in eine brandneue Stadt in einem ihr unbekannten Land. Dort muss sie allein überleben, koste es, was es wolle.

Hazal´s most fervent wish: a chance in life. Despite countless applications, she is unable to find an apprenticeship. Instead, she encounters prejudice and is repeatedly told where she belongs. But on her 18th birthday, Hazal feels strong. She wants to go partying with her best friends in the hippest club in Berlin. They stand in line full of anticipation. But the bouncer turns them down. Hazal is once again shown that she doesn´t belong. On the way home, they are also harassed by a pushy student. The situation escalates. Hazal flees head over heels to Istanbul, a brand new city in a country she doesn´t know. There she must survive alone, whatever the cost.
