Electronic CI Jam

Electronic Contact Improvisation jam is fusion between the world of CI and electronic music genres like downtempo, techno, Jungle, House, Glitch etc. This jam is for everyone who enjoys dancing contact improvisation to an electronic beat. We curate a soundscape that allows for both slow and dynamic movement—you don’t have to follow a fast rhythm, as the speed comes from the meeting of bodies. The electronic sound creates an immersive atmosphere, fostering a hypnotic state for dancing. Our jam unfolds as a sonic journey, beginning with a slow buildup, transitioning into a rhythmic flow, and concluding with a more relaxed final hour. We end with a collective moment of rest and silence.

ACCESS: Wheelchairs of almost all sizes can enter the studio over a small threshold. An accessible restroom is located on the ground floor. An elevator to the studio door is available upon request from the security guard.

Please arrive on time that we can start together! We will start with silence in the space and within ourselves.
