Early Learner Sensory Workshop

Come join us at the Naturerfahrungsraum Tempelschlucht for a sensory experience designed especially for little ones! Following a short 'Caregiver and Me' circle time with a read aloud and song, babies and toddlers under 2 years of age will explore textures, light, and color through outdoor provocations featuring water play, colorful textiles, mirrors, and other sensory materials. Enjoy a gentle and stimulating environment to support early development, spark curiosity, and create joyful moments with your child.

Further information: We will provide all sensory materials as well as a caring and nurturing environment for safe and supported learning. We suggest you feed your child a small snack before the session. We also advise you dress your child for sun exposure, to include sunscreen and a hat. Please also assure your child is wearing clothing that can get wet! We ask caregivers stay on site and support your child as they learn. There is a public toilet available nearby, but no changing table. You will receive a welcome packet upon ticket purchase with more detailed information about the event as well as consent forms.

Who we are: Meggie and Raela are your teachers with Friendship in the Feld, an early childhood development program providing play-based educational workshops for children. We are two early childhood educators with more than 20 years of combined experience with young children. Through sensory experiences, art exploration and child-led play, we aim to support social-emotional learning and help develop community and school readiness skills.
