Hošek Contemporary is pleased to host DESCENT, a contemporary performance piece by performer Riley Davidson and cellist Moritz Ebert, with Juan Cernadas sound design.

DESCENT is a live performance where flesh, sound, and silence remembers what logic forgot. A performer undresses the myths they inherited. A cellist mourns. A sound designer builds the atmosphere live, breath by breath. As we descend into the collapse of the empire, like Inanna, we must shed the versions of ourselves rooted in colonial ways of thinking. A container for the wordless rage and grief of our own complicity. A ritual for untangling the mess of the generations past. There is no way forward without descent.
