Block Print Berlin: Printing with Found Tools - Young Designers Masterclass

In this playful and very experimental print thinking session, young designers (ages 12–16) will discover that design inspiration can come from anywhere. We will explore printing with erasers, fruits, vegetables, found objects, and more. We will explore how to use string to texture objects, how to make our own creative blocks and explore everyday materials to transform into stamps.

Teens will experiment with combining found tools and handcarved woodblocks to create a one-of-a-kind textile.

(The instruction of the workshop is in English, but it is not difficult to follow. Our workshop facilitator is an experienced and qualified arts and culture teacher, journalist, designer and visual arts researcher with 25 + years of experience in arts education, writing and visual research.)

- How to create unique marks with found objects, fruits and vegetables
