Hugo Costa is a Portuguese saxophonist based in Rotterdam Netherlands, working in the field between free improvisation and avant-garde music, exploring melodic abstraction and harmonic tonal shifting using textural material with a wide range of extended techniques, he plays in projects ranging from modern jazz to free jazz, jazzcore or free improvisation, in projects such as Albatre (jazz core ) Anticlan (psychedelic/rock/ jazz) Costa/Ernsting (free improv) Real Mensh (electronics , improv)Garuda Trio (free jazz) Land Over Water trio (free jazz) Costa/ Lumley /Škorić (free jazz) Rotterdam Kinematic Ensemble and others. He has toured extensively in Europe and performed in Japan.
Isabel Anders is a German/Cuban pianist, composer, and improviser based in Berlin. She began her piano studies in a music school at age 6. She continued her education, studying with the pianists Prodromos Symeonidis and Vladimir Tropp, eventually leading her to the decision to focus on her own
composition and unique approach to improvisation, rather than aspiring to become a classical pianist. This decision led her to explore a wide variety of art forms, and to further her studies, taking classes with Sascha Dragićević and Stefan Streich, focusing on composition and contemporary music. The first
released album was based on a book of poems “Les Fleurs du Mal” written by Charles Baudelaire, after which several pieces for strings, percussion and piano were composed.
Isabel Rößler is a jazz bassist and improviser. After studying music in Nuremberg and Tallinn, she moved to Berlin in 2019, where she is active in the city’s fluid improvisation scene. In addition to numerous collaborations with local and international artists, she has toured through Germany and Eastern Europe with her trio «Flut». Beyond purely musical creation, she collaborated with artists from the fields of poetry/language, object theater, dance/performance, fine art and stage visuals, among others. Other current projects in which she is involved include: OBSiDiAN, Rupp/Rößler/Hall, Trespassing Rooms, SORBD, Brad Henkel Quartet, Red Color Trio, The Omniversal Earkestra.
Wieland Möller is a Berlin based drummer, sound artist and performer in the fields of jazz, improvised music and contemporary dance. Being a performing musician and composer, Wieland Möller has been
involved in dance and theater projects and performances, among others at the Biennale Berlin 2018, Junge Deutsche Oper Berlin, Gripstheatre, Reykjavik Dance Festival and Prague Dance Festival. He has worked with Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Markus Stockhausen, Klaas Hekman, Tobias Delius, Julyen Hamilton, Ingo Reulecke, Okwui Okpokwasili and other collaborators.
